Our offer is entirely based on custom-manufacture, i.e. they are made once a physical examination has been conducted and various pince-nez samples have been tried for size, whereupon the customer shall choose:

• the appearance of the mechanism – bridge
• the metal – white gold, gold or platinum
• whether to decorate the bridge with gemstones
• the lens shape
• the type of lens – corrective, sunglass, cosmetic

The next step is to set a price for the finished product. Once this has been agreed with the customer, an order sheet is made out and 80% of the price is paid as a deposit, either in cash or by bank transfer.

After the deposit has been received, the manufacturing process begins. For a traditional pince-nez without gemstones or corrective lenses the process takes 10 – 14 working days (alternative periods can be agreed); where corrective lenses are required, the process takes 14 – 20 working days (alternative periods can be agreed), depending on the chosen corrective lens. The manufacturing process for pince-nez decorated with gemstones takes, depending on the type of stones selected and the level of technical difficulty, 20 – 30 working days (alternative periods can be agreed).

The above guide to the length of the manufacturing process is naturally dependent on the quantity of orders being processed at any time. In light of the fact that manufacture involves unique manual labour, the entire manufacturing process, including the testing and final handover, is entirely based on negotiation in person.

The manufacture of pince-nez and jewellery collections and the manufacture of custom-made jewellery are also conducted according to the same procedure. In such cases the length of the manufacturing process depends on the complexity of the customer’s requirements – and is determined by agreement.
